Useful information starts with careful work.
Our learning library is being prepared. There are no published educational articles in this section yet. This page explains the standards we intend to apply before adding them.
Answer a real question
Each resource should have a clear purpose and explain its subject in plain language. General education should help a reader understand a topic without presenting itself as a personal diagnosis, treatment plan or substitute for an individual clinical evaluation.
Show the basis for the information
Before publication, resources should identify their sources, author and relevant review. Medical content needs an appropriately qualified reviewer whose identity and role can be verified. We will not imply that a clinician has reviewed an article when that review has not happened.
Source quality, uncertainty and the difference between an established fact and a developing idea should be clear. Any commercial relationship relevant to a resource should also be explained.
Keep the record honest
Published resources should carry meaningful publication and review dates, with corrections when needed. We will add articles when the content and review are ready, rather than fill this section with placeholder advice.
